Buses of Greater Manchester in the 1960s

A new publication by the Greater Manchester Transport Society prepared for the recent 1960s weekend at Boyle Street. This book includes chapters on the 'swinging sixties', the 'Greater Manchester bus operators', 'turning back to front', 'losing a man' and a final chapter called 'an act of change'. This book has more than 50 colour photos and eight black and white pictures which help to illustrate the history of buses in the Greater Manchester area during the 1960s.
