Berliner U-Bahn- Linien: U2

This volume from the Robert Schwandl series about the Berlin subway lines tells the story of today's U2 from Ruhleben to Zoo and Alex to Pankow. The U2 has been linking East and West Berlin back to Berlin for many years. More than any other line, it changes between high and low, crossing Charlottenburg, Schöneberg, Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg and Pankow. Its oldest section has been in operation since 1902, the latest since 2000. Numerous colour and black and white photographs illustrate the exciting history and every subway station is described in detail. The text in this book is wholly in German.
