Dad Had an Engine Shed

A fascinating recollection of the railway career of the author's father who after working through the grades became shedmaster at Mold Junction steam shed in North Wales from 1952 through to the sheds closure in 1966. The running of an engine shed and the day to day work is captured providing a real insight into the difficulties that were experienced as steam was phased out and working conditions and the mechanical condition of the engines declined. 184 pages, softback with 119 black & white photos.
