DERBYSHIRE BUS & TRAIN FESTIVAL

After a very successful event in 2024, Peak Rail Rowsley South Station and grounds, midway between Matlock and Bakewell becomes home once again to Road Transport for the day. NHVC & Peak Rail welcome a selection of up to 60 vintage buses and coaches to our site for the day.
Admission is completely FREE!
What to Expect
- Steam & DMU Rides through the beautiful Derwent Valley.
- Free Bus Rides.
- Turntable Demonstrations when the Steam Loco Arrives at Rowsley South – 11:26, 13:26 & 15:26 Approx.
- Heritage Shunters Trust Sheds open for viewing.
- Buses: Some exhibits will be static, whilst others complement the Heritage Railway route along the Derwent Valley. Operating on FREE bus services throughout the Derbyshire Dales linking Bakewell, Chatsworth, Rowsley and Darley Dale we hope to bring nostalgia alive again this Fathers Day. So, please join us to help make this event bigger and better than ever before.

Entry to the site is free. Standard fares apply for the Train.
Parking:
Parking at Rowsley South Station is only available for Blue Badge Holders, for other visitors please use the free Park & Ride Bus from DFS, Dale Road, Darley Dale, DE4 2ET.
