We are a specialist transport publisher with a particular interest in bus, tram and trolleybus subjects.

Our Prestige and Super Prestige series of titles provide a concise and well written history of many operators, extensively illustrated with comprehensive captions. These ranges of 64-176 page softback volumes are constantly expanding and many of the earlier titles are now much sought after on the second-hand market.

In the same format we have also produced biographies and autobiographies of some of the transport industry’s leading figures with more planned in the near future.

We also produce a range of hardback books which take a more detailed look at the extensive histories of specific companies. These books are produced using a combination of archive material and interviews with former employees and management. This allows the reader an insider’s perspective into companies often long since disbanded.

Continuing our range of A4 books we produce lower page count, softback publications which focus on more recent operations. This allows these books to be profusely illustrated in colour throughout, taking full advantage of our archive.

Venture’s exclusive access to the Senior Transport Archive, built up over the last 3 decades, has proved invaluable to its authors. It contains unrivalled historical records and thousands of unique, quality illustrations to assist authors with their work.
