Using mostly unpublished photographs with detailed captions this book will appeal to lay readers, local historians and enthusiasts of bus history. Of special interest will be detailed descriptions of the vehicles. As a bonus for local historians the images also portray street scenes in the area which have changed significantly. Whilst the predominant operator in the area was the Potteries Motor Traction Company, this book also includes the independent operators of the area, several of which are nationally known. 160 pages, c300 black & white photos.
