Around Bournemouth by Trolleybus

This book describes the Bournemouth trolleybus system route by route in numerical order. The starting and finishing dates of each service are detailed as are the main features of each route. Incredibly there are two pictures of two trolleybuses on the same day showing fleet number 200. There are some pictures of brand new MF2Bs including one which was yet to enter service. There then follows a number of extra items which considerably enhance the book. There are two links with London Transport, photographs of the Brighton trolleybuses which Bournemouth bought, both in their home town and being refurbished in the Bournemouth workshop. The depots are featured and at Southcote Road there are two different pictures of the same trolleybus in the same position but with different fleet numbers. 'Flexibility of an open-topper' will remind readers of these unusual trolleybuses. A fleet list is included and Roger Smith has provided an excellent two-page map.
