Simister village's bus departs hourly - as it has done for almost 100 years, still taking its passengers to Heaton Park Station and on to the centre of Prestwich. This is the story of the village bus service from 1927 to 2024 - and in particular Jack Parry who ran it from 1928 to 1946.
