Details
In its early years, the Caterham branch was an uneconomical rural single line. Tattenham Corner was not reached until this century, the branch being exceptionally busy on Epsom Race days. Both lines have spawned extensive residential development, the resulting station alterations and rolling stock changes are illustrated herein. Royal train locomotives are tabulated.
