abc London Transport in the 1950s - Railways, Buses, Coaches, Trams & Trolleybuses

From the 1940s onwards, as well as the famous series of abcs aimed at locospotters, a range of other subjects were tackled under the abc branding. Delving into the archive, which came to Crecy with its acquisition of Ian Allan Publishing in 2016, we have begun to reprint a selection of these other abcs. They are quirky and fascinating and all of them provide large helpings of pure nostalgia, opening a window on a lost world, yet one which will still be in the living memory of many. This book comprises four volumes from the 1940s and 50s focusing on aspects of transport in London. The titles are; abc London Transport Railways Parts I and II (1950), abc London Transport Trams and Trolleybuses (1949) and London Transport Buses, Coaches and Trolleybuses 14th Edition (1957). These are exact facsimiles of the original publications including photos and advertisements.
