Following the success of its single-decker buses, Dundee took the decision to introduce double-deckers in 1931. During the years that followed, they would come to form the majority of the fleet and play an important role in transforming the city’s transport system. The sixty-five years covered by this book were among the most interesting of the twentieth century, encompassing the many changes and challenges faced by the bus industry during this time.
