This is the fascinating story of the Hayling Railway from conception to closure. The story of the Hayling Railway was first told by Peter Paye, and published by the Oakwood Press, in 1979 as 32 page booklet, it has been long out of print. This Second Edition has been published to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Hayling Railway linking Havant, in east Hampshire, with Hayling Island. The book is A5 in size and consists of 160 pages, with more than 100 illustrations.
