Hereford to Newport

Originating largely as a horse-drawn tramway, this route has had varied fortunes. The photographs depict the once extensive stations and junctions, together with an assortment of locomotives and stock. This contrasts with today's short trains and minimal platforms, but at lease long distant services have been restored.
