Irish Buses in the mid 1960s

The author of this book visited Ireland for the first time in 1965. It was a picture in Buses Illustrated of a Belfast trolleybus creeping round Bell's Bridge roundabout that decided him to make the trip. He and three friends came to Belfast that summer and, after photographing the trolleybuses and other vehicles, travelled to Dublin to see buses there. A return visit in 1967 went much further afield to other parts of Ireland and to the north where Ulsterbus was in its infancy. The pictures in this book were taken on these visits and provide a record of the Irish bus scene forty years ago when many half-cab vehicles were still in service.
