London Main Line War Damage

This book is a record of the damage and disruption caused to London main line rail services during the Second World War. As such it is a tribute to the people who worked hard - and in sometimes dangerous conditions - to restore services after an attack. The difficult work that this sometimes required is graphically illustrated in photographs taken at the scene of bombing.
