Lough Swilly Buses

This is a comprehensive book about the buses of the Lough Swilly Company, which is the major bus operator in North Donegal. The Lough Swilly evolved from the road services of the old Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway and, with a continuous history going back to 1863, is currently the oldest operator in Ireland, if not in these islands. The Lough Swilly buys most of its vehicles second-hand, so a lot of its buses originated in Britain and it is popular with British bus enthusiasts who often find long lost ‘friends' near Malin Head or Letterkenny!
