Large companies operated services within the city of Aberdeen and within the surrounding countryside of Aberdeenshire and further afield. However, they were not the only ones to do so and smaller independent bus and coach operators were and are to be found in the area. Following on from his successful Buses of Northern Scottish, author Peter Findlay looks at the independent bus and coach operators of north-eastern Scotland. This book uses a wonderful collection of photographs in order to show the history and development of the independent bus and coach operators of north-eastern Scotland.
