Nottingham City Transport at 140 illustrates the company's operations in 2018, 140 years after Nottingham's first horse drawn trams entered service. The launch of this book forms part of the celebrations to recognise 140 years of continuous public service by NCT and its' predecessor, the Nottingham & District Tramways Co. Ltd. Today NCT remains one of a dwindling number of municipal bus companies and can boast to have Britain's largest fleet of low-emission bio-gas double decks. The company's route branded operation has won numerous awards and has the highest passenger satisfaction rating of any bus company.
