Portsmouth to Southampton

Little has previously been published about this interesting cross country route, which started as a minor branch line and became an important east-west link for both passengers and freight. The varied coastal scene and the diversity of the trains, including many from the steam era, are fully pictured. The lines to the Hamble Oil Terminal and the Southampton Docks are also included.
