Railways & Recollections 87 The North Norfolk Railway

This 87th volume in the growing Recollections series takes us on a journey from Sheringham to Holt. Departing from the North Norfolk's Sheringham Station we travel westwards along the beautiful North Norfolk coast to the intermediate stop of Weybourne. Here is a typical wayside station engendering memories of the age of steam perhaps the 1950s and 1960s before the Beeching axe fell on so many of these truly 'local' points of travel. Our journey takes us onwards to the current terminus at Holt. The tracks go no further but the hope is that in time we will once again be able to venture further.
