Steam Memories No 6: Western Region Enthusiast

This volume in the ‘Steam Memories’ series features the work of Tim Farebrother. Tim was an enthusiast all his life and for a time made a career in photography before changing direction completely to become a teacher. His photographs depict the late 1950s and early 1960s and showcase the Western Region as it started to change from an almost exclusive steam railway. Locations featured include the Worcester area, Reading and Swindon with a number of lineside views.
