In this title, rare and unusual images have been sourced from several major railway image collections including the mostly unpublished Heywood collection. The book features an overview of the island's railways as well as describing and featuring each line individually with system maps and vital statistics. Profusely illustrated, scarcely a station is not shown. The images date from the earliest years of railway photography into the 1950s and 60s. 96 pages, 148 black & white photos.
