Bradford Motorbuses to 1974

Bradford was a perfect operating environment for trolleybuses so in 1961 177 trolleybuses were still in service facing off against 192 motorbuses. The main focus of this book is the fleet in 1961, and the author keeps returning to this theme but to tell the story properly inevitably there's plenty of before and after 1961 in terms of illustrations and text. Stuart gives a bit of background about the town, its history and its topography, all of which had a bearing on the buses and there is plenty of details on routes, the buses themselves and an interesting section on service vehicles.
