This book tells the story of the Fred. Olsen Express ferry company, an organisation that has grown considerably from its inception as Ferry Gomera in 1974 and that in 2024 celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Fred. Olsen Express is now the market leader in the Canary Islands for inter-island passenger and freight transport operating eight fast craft and two mini ferries on six inter-island routes together with a coastal route along La Gomera, three freight ferries on four inter-island routes and two ro-pax ferries in conjunction with Baleària from the Canaries two principal islands to the Spanish mainland.
