Ruabon to Barmouth

Remembered by many as an unrivalled scenic route to the Welsh coast, this winding single line served mostly small communities. Their rustic stations remained little changed, but the trains improved steadily. Always steam hauled, they are shown in diverse locations with a variety of rural backdrops and engines.
