Imagine yourself back in the 1960s or 70s and you're thinking of working on the buses. It's a time of turmoil in the Public Transport industry, with bus companies and city transport departments being nationalised, privatised or absorbed into larger transport organisations. This sometimes serious, sometimes humorous A5 size (approx.) book has a glossy cover and approx. 96 colourful, glossy pages of interesting stories and articles, 76 colour and black & white photos and over 30 sketches/cartoons and many other colour and black & white pictures. The authors both worked on the buses at that time, one as a driver for both the Midland Red (BMMO) and the West Midland Passenger Transport Executive, and then subsequently as a Private Hire Coach Driver, and the other who was at first a conductor, and then a driver for the Midland Red (BMMO).
