Southern Medley in the RC Riley series features the Southern Region. Compiled by Southern expert Mike King, the 112 pages contain 141 black and white images most of which are seen in print for the very first time. Mike has taken several topics dividing the chosen views into different themes starting with the obvious locomotives and moving on to trains, electric units of course, stations, signal boxes and his famed topic of rolling stock all of which he describes in detail using his expert knowledge. Geographic coverage is from Kent through to Devon including London Termini, main lines, cross country, branches and even goods yard. In all a book that needs to be on the shelves of every Southern enthusiast, and we suspect one that will find a place with others as well.
