Steam Memories 1950-60s 90 Nottingham Engine Sheds

This book features the engine sheds located around the Nottinghamshire area. These include: Nottingham itself, Colwick, Annesley and Kirkby-in-Ashfield, amongst others. Predominately, the steam locomotives featured in the book carried coal. There are no diesel locomotives featured at all in this book although the locomotives shown in these pages are in their latter BR days, during the 1950s and 1960s, and therefore are sadly on their way out. This book has a great collection of black and white photos to illustrate their story and even show some places that no longer exist today such as sheds 16A, 38A, 16D and 36C.
