Steam's Lament- Stanier & Ivatt Pacifics

This popular series expands further, as we take a detailed look at both the Lizzies and Duchesses in detail during their British Railway's careers from 1948 until 1967. Once again taking a hard and long search through the archives we have compiled we think a superb selection of first-class photographs to depict each and every one of both classes of Pacifics with hitherto un-published shots almost throughout. Each individual locomotive is depicted at least twice as we take a look at different modifications, duties, liveries etc throughout their British Railways days, not only on their usual stomping grounds on the London Midland and Scottish Regions, but also at work on the Eastern, Western and Southern Regions too.
