The Buses of Arran, Argyll and Environs in Colour Photographs by John Sinclair

This latest selection of John Sinclair's wonderful colour photographs covers the Island of Arran, the old county of Argyll and a few places on the fringes of these. By July 1965 John had built up a technique of low cost travel and accommodation to go to different areas and photograph their native buses. From his Edinburgh home John went to Argyll and the Clyde Coast and the majority of the photos in the book date from that trip with a few from subsequent decades. Locations featured include Brodick, Whiting Bay, Ardrossan, Millport, Ardbeg, Balloch, Balmaha, Inveraray, Lochgilphead and more.
