The Last Years of Steam on the North Eastern Region

This album covers photographically much of the British Railways North Eastern Region as we knew it before it was disbanded and taken over by the Eastern Region in 1967. The majority of the images depict scenes away from the most main line locations including main stations and the ECML in general but York is visited albeit rather swiftly.
