The Railways of Exeter - A Pictorial Celebration

In this book, the author David Mitchell looks at Railways in and around Exeter. Mitchell looks at each station, including the various developments that have occurred over the years as well as the freight yards and their traffic. He also shows the reader the transition that took place from steam to diesel and the work involved in the 1980s re-signalling. In this book the author uses 150 black & white and colour photographs to celebrate the railways of Exeter and how they have changed over time.
