Paul King presents the fifth of his books taking a look at the railways of North East Lincolnshire. Part One covered the engine sheds in the area and their allocations. In Part Two, Paul now moved on to look at the stations in North East Lincolnshire with each showing a selection of photographs alongside a potted but informative history as well as numerous other anecdotal information. In Part Three, Paul turned his attention to the docks, shipping and trams that could be found alongside the railway operations on North East Lincolnshire. Part 4, entitled Comforts and Fish, looks at locomotives outside the environs of the loco shed on fish, goods, passenger and excursion traffic. In this part, Paul takes a look at the railways in North Lincolnshire beyond the narrow boundaries set for his previous books. After all, the whole network formed an integral part of rail operation in this particular corner of England.
