This A4 casebound book by Steve Palmer, attractively designed and edited by John Senior covers the famous Blackpool trams in detail and includes many stunning colour images covering almost 50 years from early tripod time-exposures from the 'fifties of the Progress Car, Lifeboat and Gondola, through to today's wonderful high definition digital images of illuminated cars during the `lights', and the various restored cars in service, many on special tours. The book covers the history of the survivors, the long-gone but still fondly-remembered Vambacs, works cars, television cars, the 75th Anniversary Celebrations, visiting trams, Blackpool trams out on loan and much more. Thoroughly recommended.
