West of England Emergency Service Vehicles

From Bath across to Weston-super-Mare, from Bristol down to Taunton, in 160 high-quality images the region's modern day emergency services are captured live, often as they respond to emergencies. The focus is upon the vehicles in use by the emergency services whether on land, sea or air, often supported by organisations with whom they work in partnership. Images include abnormal loads, the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, and a massive public order deployment. The country's ambulance used to transport Ebola victims is seen in Bristol, as are air ambulances from far and wide flying into Southmead Hospital. The fire and rescue service are captured at work in a Bristol incident along with their latest appliances vividly captured storming through traffic on the blues. This book is the sequel to the author's London Emergency Service Vehicles published in 2017.
