Wolverhampton's Railways Revisited

This book is a companion volume to the Severn Valley Railway Wolverhampton Brancha's book, Wolverhamptona's Railways in Colour, published back in 2010. With around 100 photographs, this book covers all the Wolverhampton railway locations, installations and locomotives mainly from the late 1950a's until the turn of the century, with a few more recent pictures also. Locations covered in this publication include the Low Level and High Level stations, the sheds at Stafford Road, Oxley and Bushbury together with Stafford Road Locomotive Works and the principal Goods Depots. The locomotives featured in this book are: Kings, Castles, Halls, Jubilees, Black 5a's, 8Fa's and 9Fa's, among the steam types, and modern traction Classes 25, 33, 40, 47, 52, 58, 60, 81, 85 and 87, many themselves over half a century old.
